A MOMS GUIDE TO MOTHERS DAY

TO all the mommy’s out here here’s some few pointers for you to be able to get the most on mothers day..

1. Strategize. So often, mother’s day is about all the other moms in your life, and you get lost in the shuffle. Do a little forward thinking about how you would like to spend your time. Getting massage, sitting by yourself in Starbucks with a stack of your favorite mugs, or having brunch with the family followed by an afternoon in bed catching up on the lost episode of your favorite movie.

2. Relax. There’s nothing wrong with wanting time away from your baby. In fact you need it. “So much is demanded of a new mom that its critical that her own needs be met so she can keep herself mentally and physically strong for the baby.” Says Linda caters, Ph. D., Director of the Family studies program at NYU Child Study Center.

3. Share. Men aren’t mind readers (surprise!). be direct and tell your significant other exactly what you’d like to do. Plus, starting a dialogue with your partner about both of your needs can only benefit you in the long run Who knows—you might also get a little downtime on a few of the other 364 days a year,,
